John W. McDougall Company, Inc., an 83-year-old metal fabricator in Nashville, TN, is looking for a skilled Laser Machine Operator Helper. This is a great position if you want to learn to become a full-time Laser Machine Operator.

Primary Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Assist laser operator with:
    • Loading/unloading machine
    • Parts removal
    • Packing
    • Quality inspections
    • Material identification
    • Staging
  • Fork lift experience is a must
  • Fabrication experience is a plus
  • Rigging experience is a plus
  • Good communication skills required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay commensurate with experience: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • This job is a union B-mechanic position through SMW 177
  • Medical insurance provided through Sheet Metal Workers Local 177
