 Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator position will support the Marketing & Communications Manager to deliver effective and strategic marketing campaigns for Mears Group. The Marketing Coordinator is creative, well-rounded, detail oriented, and a natural storyteller.


What Do You Offer Us? 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including marketing SharePoint site, company store, and intranet sites
  • Write copy for a range of marketing collateral that includes ads, brochures, blogs, and corporate communications
  • Assist with development and execution of external and internal marketing campaigns
  • Produce print and digital collateral for company using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator as needed – print and digital ads, posters, and HTML emails, etc.
  • Assist with coordination and administration of social media platforms (scheduling, writing, editing, and posting content)
  • Partner with external agencies/vendors for projects (such as photography, digital marketing and branding) as needed
  • Develop PowerPoint / InDesign presentations for customer interactions
  • Coordinate inventory of marketing materials, trade show giveaways and promotional items
  • Industry association and conference planning and support
  • Event planning – customer and internal events
  • Provide writing and editing services for other communication projects as needed

What is Required? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, English or related discipline with minimum two years relevant experience
  • Or five years’ relevant experience in lieu of educational requirement
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of HTML and email software (Mailchimp, WordPress etc.)
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Creative, positive and proactive
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Knowledge of related software applications
