We're looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill a critical coordination role on our team. In this role, you will be involved in the labor/project management and technical support of MMC Controls Technicians and Electricians. We're looking for candidates who are interested in a career path in the controls/mechanical service and construction world. High performers in this role will have opportunities to be promoted into project management, sales, or engineering roles. The Controls Service Support Engineer will report directly to a Construction Executive or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer and Field Support

  • Identify, communicate, and help execute immediate actions required to remove roadblocks.
  • Identify and implement processes required to ensure identified roadblocks do not repeat.
  • Assist with Material procurement and coordinate service Work Orders.
  • Assist with pricing and coordinating Time and Materials work.
  • Pull Permits and distribute approved permits to team.

Service Coordination

  • Open work orders and assemble field turnover documents as needed; manages service software.
  • Manage service schedule and dispatch in coordination with Service Sales/PM.
  • Assist in planned maintenance agreement execution and ensures world class customer satisfaction.
  • Attends scheduling meeting and contributes to staffing forecasting for field personnel.
  • Assist with billing and collections for completed work.

Inside Sales

  • Review project pertinent documents as assigned.
  • Coordinate or complete when needed engineered drawings, submittals, installation and as-built drawings for projects.
  • Support sales personnel in job take-offs, application engineering, estimating, customer demonstration and site surveys.
  • Identifies adds, upgrades and escalations to meet customer needs and improve system efficiencies.
