Job description

We are seeking a talented developer with the experience and skills to help further empower Quantifi’s cloud strategy. Our goal is the transformation of our award winning cross-asset trading and risk management SaaS into a truly cloud native offering.

This opportunity will also provide the right individual the ability to learn from some of the top people in the finance industry. Our senior team includes individuals with years of experience in top-tier financial service firms including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developer Experience - Work to abstract and simplify deployment of micro-services for other developers.
  • CI/CD and GitOps – Complete automation of our integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Self-Service Infrastructure – Automate virtual environment provisioning and unify experience for developers, pre-sales and clients.
  • DevOps and DevSecOps – Co-ordination with our IT Operations
  • Training – Dissemination of expertise on new tool sets and processes.
  • Evangelism - Advocacy for technology enabled culture change.

Skills and Requirements:

  • BS and/or MS/PhD in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Strong software analysis, design and development skills
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience building SaaS/PaaS on top of Kubernetes
  • Cloud CI/CD tool chains. Azure DevOps preferred
  • Experience using IaC and automation tools like Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform
