A position is available for an Environmental Engineer – Water/Wastewater Design (Pittsburgh) with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Environmental Engineer – Water/Wastewater Design (Pittsburgh) position will be primarily responsible for the design of civil/infrastructure, water and wastewater conveyance, treatment and reuse systems, and site planning for a wide range of industrial and municipal projects.

Candidates for this position should have a Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field; 1 year experience in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering or Environmental or Civil Engineering Research; 1 year of experience with the design of rainwater harvesting or reuse systems; 1 year of experience with construction engineering; 1 year of experience developing cost benefit analyses for civil infrastructure projects; 1 year of experience with design of sustainable civil infrastructure; 1 year of experience in concrete and steel construction quality assurance; 1 year of experience in cost estimation, tender specification preparation, and bid evaluation for civil infrastructure projects; 1 year of experience with AutoCAD; demonstrated knowledge of economic based decision methods including sensitivity analysis and simulation; demonstrated knowledge of contaminated site remediation engineering, including site investigation, remedial planning and design, technology evaluation and selection, remedial construction, site closure and post-closure monitoring and maintenance. Alternative requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering or Environmental or Civil Engineering Research, plus same special requirements listed above. The salary for this position will be $82,355.00.
