The Purpose of the Role and Impact on the Company

  • Our 6-12 month development program prepares you for a career within Champagne Metals. The development program is an entry-level position that involves an extensive training process through multiple business departments.  The goal of the program is to educate the candidate on every aspect of Champagne Metals’ processes and business model to help them gain a hands-on understanding of our company.  It is designed to help identify the strengths and preferences of the employee to help determine the best long-term fit within our organization as a starting point for their career.  Upon completing the rotational program, you will move into a permanent position within one of the business departments which could include, but are not limited to, Account Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Analysts, Quality, Logistics, etc.

What You Can Expect In The Program

  • Hands-on training on plant/warehouse roles and processes
  • Working on special projects including compiling data, analysis, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
  • Learning from mentors and working in groups on Supply Chain, Account Management, and other various projects
  • Training on time management, presentation, leadership, communication and emotional intelligence
  • Establishing and building relationships across the company

Desired Skills

  • Excellent PC skills including spreadsheet, database and word processing applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interpret company policies, procedures and practices
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary dependent on experience, will be discussed during the interview process

PTO – 15 days annually and 7 paid holidays
