Kennel Assistants 

We are looking for team players to grow with us and be flexible when there is a need. Must have excellent work history and attendance. Excellent customer service and computer skills. Shouldn’t be afraid to get messy as this job includes working directly with animals as well as washing and scrubbing kennels daily. Primary responsibility will be cleaning, administering vaccinations, and working with staff and the public. Our Kennel Staff are a very important part of our shelter team, for the cleanliness of the shelter and health of the animals. 

*Shift for the Full-Time Kennel Assistant opportunity is 7 am-4 pm Sunday-Thursday except Wednesdays are 9 am-6 pm. 

*Shift for the Part-Time Kennel Assistant opportunity is 7 am-1 pm, 5 Days a week includes Saturday and Sunday, and 3 rotating weekdays.

You will get to be a part of the process of helping homeless animals find a forever home; a job where you get to be a hero! These positions will be exposed to bleach regularly, so you must not have a bleach allergy. This position may also require you to occasionally lift 50 pounds. 

*Must be 18 years or older.
