We are currently seeking a Senior Consolidation Accountant who will be a key member of the corporate accounting team reporting to the Consolidations Accounting Manager.  In this position, you will support the consolidation of financial results for APi Group.

Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare and maintain monthly journal entry and month-end close checklist
  • Review trial balance mappings & submit necessary change request forms
  • Monitor and confirm completeness of the monthly trial balance load and submission process
  • Prepare and post recurring journal entries from prior periods (as necessary)
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations for various accounts including investment in subsidiaries and intercompany notes
  • Facilitate the balancing of all intercompany and out of balance activity in collaboration with each entity
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly consolidation process and reporting for APi Group companies, including profit & loss statements, balance sheet, and cash flows
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly roll-forwards and variance reporting
  • Partner with Business Systems team on further buildout of ERP reporting
  • Perform other month-end and quarter-end duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting and two to four years of experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite program
  • Knowledge of consolidation software, such as OneStream or Hyperion, preffered
