Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for the safely and efficiently maintaining the quarry in addition to other duties.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

• Help to maintain and clean around Aggregate Producing Plant.
• Help to maintain haul roads, loadout areas, and other locations where material may hinder traffic.
• Help with plant lubrication and plant start-up prior to daily running.
• Help with dust control around plant area and quarry for safety and environmental concerns.
• Help members of the crew to repair plant to come back online if the plant goes down.
• Perform light maintenance including greasing and wrenching.
• Operate skid steer, water truck and stock truck (tandem axel).

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Some experience with medium or heavy equipment operation such as skid steer, water truck, and wheel loader.
• Previous use and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor labor

 Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required 

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Ability to work extended hours (including Saturday) during the busy season
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE required for the job
