QC Inspector

This position provides comprehensive infrastructure services to fiber, wireline and wireless carrier customers within the communications industry.  We are seeking a QC Inspector that will be responsible for quality assurance supporting operations, engineering and outside processes.

 

What Do You Offer Us?

  • Provide Quality Assurance support to the OSP Construction team.
  • Perform Quality checks on all outside plant to ensure plant is up to client specifications or permit requirements.
  • Assist with inspection, investigations.
  • Perform OJT with both internal self-perform crews and subcontract crews.
  • Prepare defect punch list reports and submit to the Construction team for correct action/remediation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What is Required?

 High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a QC Inspector role, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge (minimum) of Quality Systems and documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels within the organization, vendors, and others as needed.
  • Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Be flexible with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
