Job Title: Service Coordinator

Blair Fire Protection is the company of choice for fire protection systems from design, installation, and service to complex specialized systems.  We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our growing team.

 The Service Coordinator is the lead coordinator to our field service team, providing full-cycle service work from order creation through billing submission.  To be successful in this role you will need to be customer-focused, an active problem solver, able to collaborate with key stakeholders internal and external, and accomplish identified priorities and timelines.

 A day in the life – Service Coordinator:

  • Schedule required service with the customer including inspections
  • Follow-up on work orders, from intake to execution
  • Prepare price quotes, terms of service, and delivery dates
  • Prepare and/or review formal submittals
  • Support field service teams by entering customer data into the database and approving timecards
  • Audit all completed inspection work orders and associated billing
  • Coordinate small construction jobs from scheduling to material ordering
  • Maintain customer relationships including customer satisfaction calls

 What skills as a Service Coordinator at Blair Fire Protection?

  • Associates degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years prior customer service experience, in a construction or related environment, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities with ease and success
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to follow directions with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer knowledge and usage required
