The Small Tools Runner performs tasks related to the upkeep of yards and facilities as well as the delivery of small tools equipment as directed by the Yard Foreman.  (Hours:  Monday through Friday - 6am to 4:30pm) 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers supplies and equipment in a safe and timely
  • Company branding of small tools / equipment for new
  • Stocks supplies, small tools and
  • Receives and stocks
  • Housekeeping and general maintenance of yard and small tools
  • Miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Yard

SOFT SKILLS

  • Organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Communication skills – written and verbal
  • Team player

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma, GED or vocational school required
  • Commercial Driver’s License preferred
  • Ability to safely tow 20’ trailer / accessories
  • Forklift Certification
  • Knowledge of construction tools, material and equipment

TRAVEL

  • Overnight travel: None
  • Intra / interstate: Frequent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift to 50
  • Ability to work outside in all weather
  • Ability to work in a construction yard
  • Must be able to load and unload packages and
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to pick up packages and
