Job Summary: Fulfills orders and receives payments from retail partners. Drivers are responsible for mapping deliveries, calling customers, using various apps on smartphone, collecting payments, and managing assigned inventory. Benefits are available after the introductory period.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify your orders are accurate, reporting any mistakes or errors before departing
  • Meet all arrival/departure deadlines and delivery appointments or time frames when specified
  • Always use best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading product
  • Follow company procedures and processes when collecting payments from customers
  • Ensure all delivery requirements of the delivery process are met and performed accurately
  • Maintain a concise understanding of the state’s regulations for transporting cannabis goods
  • Arrive at scheduled time ready to start work
  • Maintain accurate records of your time worked

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Operate with a sense of urgency that does not negatively impact your customer service
  • Some routes may require the driver to overnight at a provided hotel to complete the route
  • When unforeseen circumstances interrupt the planned delivery route, make logical adjustments to ensure maximum deliveries are met and communicate to dispatch these changes safely
  • Communicate professionally and always provide the highest level of customer service to our accounts
  • Follow all required laws and Company protocol without fail
  • Use discretion when unloading deliveries or collecting payments to ensure safety
  • Utilize great attention to detail when verifying orders and conducting transactions
  • Ability to use technology effectively and safely (i.e. smartphones, computers, GPS, etc.)

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Delivery Driver
  • Cash handling experience
  • Sales experience encouraged
  • Product knowledge encouraged but not required

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Sitting up to 8 - 10 hours a day
  • Repeat the same movements
  • Bend and twist their body

 

 

Travel Required:

  • Some travel is required
