Service Technician
Hourly Rate: Commensurate with skills and experience
Employment: Full Time - Location headquarters: Stratford, CT
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (site specific hours may apply)
Overtime: Available
Summary:
Licensed Journeymen with commercial experience that possess the capabilities to perform start-up of new equipment, commissioning, warranty service, diagnostic service. Responsible for installation, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing all major brands of commercial HVAC equipment. Work may include commissioning, start-up, adjusting, repair, modification, and/or replacement of HVAC equipment.

- Must possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license
- High School or equivalent degree
- Relevant Connecticut trade license (S-1 thru 2 or D1 thru 2) only one needed.
- Possess or able to be trained for OSHA 10/30 certification
- Willing to work independently or as part of a large team
- Attention to detail
- Execute and follow Company required documentation, paperwork including submittals, time sheets, daily reports, etc.
- Accurately estimate time and material requirements for repairs and replacements
- Work as on-call technician during rotation period
- Troubleshoot and service HVAC systems and components (predictive)
- Minimum five years commercial service experience
- Basic knowledge of complete mechanical system and how they work
- Knowledge of trade materials, tools, means & methods
- Demonstrate safe use of trade related power and hand tools
