Summary:

We're looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill a critical coordination role on our controls service team. In this role, you will be involved in the labor/project management of all the controls service calls and projects. We're looking for candidates who are interested in a career path inn the Mechanical/Controls world and wo are sales minded.  High performers in this role could ultimately be promoted to a Service Sales/Project Manager and be in charge of selling and running a large book of service business.

Job Specifics:

  • Project Coordination
    • Manage incoming service work orders
    • Estimating of small controls service jobs
    • Order and track materials and equipment
    • Conduct safety audits and meetings
    • Track and allocate time on all work orders
    • Willingness to learn the mechanical and controls service business
    • Provide what is needed for all work areas on a daily basis (cranes, lifts, parts, etc.)
    • Be available from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Sales
    • Estimating of small controls service jobs
    • Learn MMC quoting process
    • Record management of estimates and quotes
    • Prospecting for new customers
    • Shadow project managers on sales calls

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Capacity to work on a high performing team
  • Able to price simple mechanical proposals utilizing MMC's pricing system
  • Skilled at multitasking
