Safety Intern

Lavelle Industries is looking for a Safety Intern to join our Burlington Team of Toilet Geniuses! This is a perfect opportunity to explore the world of Manufacturing from an occupational safety perspective. Reporting directly to the Safety Manager, the intern in this role can look forward to work that includes:

  • Project management related to safety and continuous improvement
  • Direct interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders within the facility
  • Gain diversified knowledge of workplace safety topics

The right fit candidate should be someone who is:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program; preference is given to Safety and Occupational Health majors or similar field of study
  • Able to work full time hours throughout the summer season (Mon-Fri) or part-time hours during the school year.
  • Comfortable being active; role requires the ability to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, working at a computer, and occasional lifting to 30 lbs.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Personable and professional; you will be interacting directly with cross-functional team members - someone with positive hustle and enthusiasm is a great fit for this role!
