JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions

  • Preparation and management of project budgets, schedules, labor, disposal, cost accounting requirements and quality controls.
  • Preparation of technical proposals, reports and evaluations.
  • Responsible for managing projects in their entirety including spearheading all communication with the client, subcontractors, regulators, and ensuring daily/weekly progress reporting on production is accurate and reported back to the EnviroVantage leadership team.
  • Read, analyze and interpret drawings, blueprints and project documents.
  • Ability to adhere to all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency, state and company hazardous materials laws and policies.
  • Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hard working and motivated every day

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position is responsible for managing large abatement/demolition/environmental remediation projects, supervising subcontractors, and managing supervisory staff.

 POSITION TYPE

This is a salary exempt position.

 TRAVEL

Mainly within the Edgewood area.

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years working as a Site Superintendent in the construction and/or environmental remediation fields required.
  • Experience managing federal government contracts preferred.
  • Experience with all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency, state and/or municipal hazardous material laws and policies required.
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Projects proficiency required.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

 CERTIFICATIONS

  • OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 required.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training, OSHA 29 CFR 1926 required.
