POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsible for producing revenue through the sale of services and in-house developed products into new “greenfield” enterprise accounts and generating net new business through the sale of professional services and software. Sales Representative will also be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing “up-sell/cross-sell” opportunities in existing customer accounts. Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, deep understanding of a solution sale lifecycle and the ability to close sales. Be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task.

POSITION RESPONSIBLITES

  • Meet or exceed assigned quotas through the sale of solutions and software that address customer business requirements.
  • Follow up on referrals and new leads in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate sales activities with Marketing and Business Development to maximize lead generation activities.
  • Strong business development experience, with a demonstrated ability to identify new sales opportunities and convert them into customers.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Provide on-time and accurate/realistic sales forecasts.
  • Provide sales leadership within the territory and company, spanning multiple industries.
  • Communicate with Technical and Professional Services personnel and other departments as necessary, and provide them with direction, support, and leadership throughout the sales cycle.
  • Follow-up on leads and advise team/management on status weekly and accurately keying information into Salesforce.com CRM system.
  • Manage and coordinate Partner-lead sales opportunities; communicate Partner updates and pending project deployment requirements with FDI Operations and Management
  • Complete and update client profiles in Salesforce.com CRM system.
  • Contact new and existing customer base to sell additional software and services.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing and Product Management regarding customer requirements, potential new features, effective messaging, and product positioning.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of products and sales methodologies.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, demos, and sales contracts.
  • Establish and maintain new and established client relationships.
  • Inform and contribute to company growth strategy and market proposition.
  • Other duties as assigned/required.

ABILITY:

  • Demonstrated sales ability with track record of enterprise level sales success across multiple industries (desired experience in Financial Services, Health Care, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Government).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong and productive working relationships with customers/clients, including the ability to establish client trust.
  • Working knowledge of common software applications and uses, including MS Windows Operating Systems and MS Office Applications, as well as Zoom, MS Teams, etc.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to plan your own activities to achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent presentation skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure.
  • Possesses a positive, “can do” attitude and exemplary work ethic.
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to persuade and convince others.
  • Be calm, focused, and exhibits strong teaming characteristics.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate crucial conversations with target prospects, as well as enterprise procurement organizations.
  • Present knowledge of various technologies such as Content Services, Document Capture Applications, Application Decommissioning and Content Storage & Repurposing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time as required by business needs.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar position within enterprise technology consulting sales.  

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or experience in related field are preferred.

Base pay salary range based on experience and budget is $75k-$100k
