J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. hires leaders who want to be part of the project management who facilitate the build of various infrastructure, utility, and heavy civil construction projects.

**The employment term is roughly May 2022 through August 2022**

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to properly plan and execute various construction projects
  • Gain a true perspective of what a career in project management demands
  • Work alongside the entire project team of Project Engineers, Foreman, Operators, Laborers, etc.
  • Learn firsthand each day of the project management life cycle
  • Experience construction from both the field and office perspectives
  • Take ownership of project documentation such as change orders, RFI’s, production logs, etc.
  • Maintain project schedules, budget/costs and all related reporting
  • Point of contact for other contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Prepare /submit client submittals, vendor invoices and other miscellaneous items
  • Effectively develop engineering solutions to project issues

Work Experience:

  • Prior applicable work experience preferred - landscaping, home repairs, construction

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Desire to work in both an office and field/construction setting
  • Outstanding computer skills including the MS office suite of products, specifically Excel
  • Creamer will train you on other necessary software programs (MS Project, Bluebeam, P6
  • Ability to communicate effectively within the company, with clients, and with field personnel is essential
  • Travel to various work locations (company vehicle provided for business travel)
