Fire Sprinkler Technician | Holds a State of Texas RME-G, RME-I. NICET II, TWIC Card a plus.
The initial focus of the Fire Sprinkler Technician position is to provide excellent service associated with inspecting, testing and repairing fire protection systems, and components. The overall goal is to establish the company as an industry leader, achieving goals, customer satisfaction.
Performs highly skilled Forman level work in the installation, testing, repairs, maintenance and operation of hydraulic fire protection equipment, systems and components. Both routine and preventive maintenance on fire protection systems to include fire sprinkler wet systems, fire sprinkler dry systems, fire sprinkler pre-action systems, fire pumps, pressure reading valves and fire alarm systems.
Maintains records on all maintenance performed on fire life safety systems. Performs follow up investigations to assure proper operation of fire and life safety systems.
Ensures code compliant designs for fire and life safety systems installed as upgrades for existing structures or as part of new construction.
Reads and interprets drawings and technical manuals. Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Serves on call team and on-call backup for fire sprinkler issues.
Five years’ experience, fire sprinkler systems.
Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. NICET Level II Certification in Water Based Systems may be required. RME-G, RME-I License required.
Valid Texas driver's license.
