Cox-Powell Corporation has immediate openings for HVAC Entry Level Service Technicians.

OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of the position will be to perform service and installations, start up and warranty as requested. Assistant HVAC project installers needed with good work ethics and mechanical ability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, installation and service
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Perform filter changes, belt replacements, cleaning coil, and lubricating bearing
- Check refrigerant levels, electrical connections and system safety controls
- Ability to adhere to all quality and safety codes
- High School diploma or GED Equivalence
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers
- Basic math skills
- Able to frequently stand; walk; use hand-tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to participate in Apprenticeship Schooling Program
- Available to work overtime if needed to include Saturday and Sunday
- Must hold a universal EPA card
- Must hold a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a background and substance abuse screening prior to employment.
Subject to random and post-accident substance abuse screening.
