Due to growth, Amteck is currently hiring multiple Superintendents to lead commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout the country. These individuals will be responsible for an assigned portion of the project including site management of field labor, pre-planning and coordination of the scope of work required to install a quality product in compliance with the contract documents and all applicable goals. The right individual will emphasize a sense of urgency and innovation while providing an environment of trust, cooperation, commitment and teamwork.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring schedule completion of projects within established budget, time and quality standards, performance and customer satisfaction
  • Reviewing project documents, plans and specifications and directing construction activities, resolving difficulties and coordinating field installations and project closings
  • Instruct, implement and enforce the company safety program and site specific safety requirements with a zero tolerance to incidents
  • Possess a complete and comprehensive understanding of the project requirements, blueprints, specifications and scheduling needs
  • Accurately submitting daily/weekly reporting and four-week look ahead schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+years of supervising commercial or industrial electrical construction projects required
  • 15+ years of commercial or industrial electrical field experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all personnel, clients, customers and architects
  • Familiarity with computers and ability to learn new software
  • Previous experience with project documenting and record keeping
