COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Rebo Lighting & Electronics is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive lighting supplier with a manufacturing plant in Sparta, Tennessee, and a technical center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative for our Sparta, TN, facility. This position will report to the Materials Manager and the Team Lead in Customer Service.   

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Utilize PLEX production planning and kanban system to achieve inventory and customer service goals.
  • Meet or exceed customer service levels through on-time shipments, communication of ASN/s, and maintenance of customer required EDI and Web-based systems.
  • First line contact for customers and responsibility for order entry, customer forecasting and billing.
  • Maintain an ongoing development program to support IATF 16949.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies as dictated by management.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Obtains and confirms current pricing for new purchase orders from Sales via current quote (contract review).
  • Reports to customer any conditions that affect fulfillment of customer orders such as scheduling changes, material availability, pricing, and shipping, etc.
  • Reports customer needs and scheduling to all internal personnel (production, quality, shipping, and management).
  • Works with shipping on documentation and shipping priorities.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and email; working knowledge of Access.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing customer service environment, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with EDI, inventory control and sales forecasting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to communicate effectively and courteously with all contacts, internal and external.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
