Brief Description:

Provides support in coordinating and implementing marketing activities, including promotional/advertising and public relations.  Also supports business development activities, including proposal development and production, information research, database maintenance and preparation of materials.

Essential Activities:

  • Marketing
    • Assists with implementation of marketing strategies
    • Assists with writing and collecting information to share across social media
    • Assists with marketing campaigns
    • Maintains files of marketing information
    • Assists in coordinating promotional activities
    • Assists in maintaining the company website
    • Coordinates photography
    • Coordinates the marketing side of onboarding new employees
    • Assists with securing bids and quotes from vendors
  • Business Development
    • Works closely with the Director of Marketing and Business Development to prepare client proposals
    • Assists in researching, creating, organizing, writing and editing proposals
    • Assists in research outreach and follow up with contacts on current and future projects
    • Maintains pending and completed proposal files
    • Conducts satisfaction surveys with clients
  • Media Relations
    • Assists with coordination of public relations
  • Events
    • Assist with the coordination of company events
  • Graphic Design
    • Prepares graphics and design layouts to support marketing campaigns

Experience:

  • AA degree in marketing, business, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related work experience
    • Minimum of 3 years previous marketing experience
    • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
    • Experience in a Construction, Architectural or Engineering firm preferred.
