Mechanical Engineer Intern – Summer 2022

Lavelle Industries is a woman-owned, privately held company that supplies many industries around the globe with custom materials and processing solutions for molded rubber and plastic applications.

Lavelle is looking for a dynamic Engineering student to join our team! Lavelle provides student interns with a fast-paced team environment and the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of engineering, quality, manufacturing and operations. We have a Mechanical Engineering Internship opportunity at our Burlington, WI location during the Summer of 2022.

YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Support other engineers and improvement initiatives.
• Participate and support facility layout projects, press installations and rearranges.
• Provide support to manufacturing and maintenance as needed.
• Perform data collection and processing as required.
• Create and/or modify documentation and training materials as needed.
• Participate in and support Kaizens and Continuous Improvement events.
• Support new product launches.
• Document machine and tooling improvements in Solid Works files.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field of study
