We are looking for a detailed and energetic Roofing Inspector to join our team. This individual will coordinate roofing inspections, assist with project proposals and analysis, provide strategic plan support and develop and maintain customer relationships by attending sales calls and developing contacts. The ideal candidate has commercial/industrial roofing experience, the ability to learn project management and estimating, and the desire to grow their career and make an impact at Jamar.

 Experience/Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial/Industrial roofing experience is required.
• Project management skills, or ability to learn project management, is required; including ability to accurately estimate manpower needs.
• Ability to accurately estimate equipment needs and provide technical assistance to technicians.
• Ability to analyze and make educated decisions regarding roofing using standard operating procedures.
• Proficient on Microsoft Suite Products
• Ability to learn and navigate Online Roofing Software.
• Willingness to keep current with continuing education as necessary.
• Valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and ability to work flexible schedules, including travel regionally for project specific work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Regional Roofing Service Manager with service and preventative maintenance sales calls.
• Inspect all styles of roofs for potential service or repairs; schedule appointments, meet with clients, document inspection results.
• Prepare proposals, estimate service orders, repairs and preventative maintenance opportunities.
• Maintain current customer relationships and develop new ones; seek out and set up preventive maintenance opportunities from completed roofing projects and coordinate with architectural team management on leads.
• Manage assigned projects and tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and provide customer follow up on all service orders.
• Safely manage all operations in accordance with company policies and procedures; aggressively work to minimize hazards and to avoid/manage claims.
• Represent company both internally and externally in a professional manner consistent with our values and mission.
• Actively participate in progress, policies and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company and corporation; uphold Jamar Mission Vision and Values, all policies and procedures.
• Develop inter-department and intercompany relationships; maintain a positive team environment.
• Follow up on accounts receivables related to service; gather historical data to provide repeatable positive results.
• Contribute to continuous improvements to process and procedures.
• Actively participate in programs and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company, including sister company support as needed.

• The environmental conditions for this position include climate controlled indoor activity to inclement outdoor extremes of cold, heat, dust, wind and various forms of precipitation. Exposure to a variety of noise and equipment vibration.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for environment.
