 We are currently looking for a Senior Lean Six Sigma Project Lead to:

  • Lead the delivery of business improvement projects (including capital projects) to enable improvements noticeable to our customers while delivering business value.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to others in the business in the use of continuous improvement tools.

 Principal Accountabilities

  • Lead the definition and delivery of business improvement projects and Kaizens through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
  • Assist with the definition of potential projects to increase value to our customers and operating units.
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize potential projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Secure the appropriate business sponsorship for allocated improvement projects.
  • Work with business functions to develop and implement data gathering techniques to frame the business opportunity and quantify the value of the implemented changes.
  • Deliver training and provide mentoring support in Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Root Cause Analysis, and 5S.
  • Kaizen and workshop facilitation techniques, while being an exemplar of all these skills among others.
  • Assist team members with data analytics

 Essential skills and experience:

  • 5+ years related work experience in continuous improvement with a track record of delivering business improvement projects.
  • Experience in working with and influencing stakeholders at a senior manager level.
  • Possesses a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt Preferred).
  • Experience managing projects and driving a data-based decision-making process.
  • Ability to effectively lead and influence across all levels within the organization.
  • Proficient in managing statistics and data analytics.
  • Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and execute projects and kaizen events.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project.
  • Ability to coach and provide feedback.
  • Ability to foster a sense of teamwork within an organization and be a contributing member of a winning team.
  • Travel up to 25% - 50% of the time.
