Main administrative duties are to represent the department, uphold our company ethos and serve our employees with world class service, by supporting the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing & maintaining personnel records.
  • Preparing HR Documents.
  • Forming & maintaining employee records for hiring, transfer, change in job classifications, merit increases, tracking vacation sick & leaves of absence.
  • Create reports & presentations on HR metrics.
  • Assist payroll with travel accommodations
  • Updating internal HR databases, client portals & continuing education.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings for interviews, hiring managers and department heads.
  • Back up receptionist while on breaks & lunch

Requirements:

  • Proven 2 years experience as an HR Administrator or equivalent role.
  • Experience with HR Software [HRIS or HRMS]
  • Computer literacy, intermediate to advanced on MS Office applications including Outlook.
  • Knowledge of labor laws.
  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to understand & prioritize projects.
  • Must have excellent in-person, e-mail and on the phone communication skills.

Excellent oral and written communication abilities required to complete a wide variety of task.

Candidate must be a self starter with strong interpersonal skills, good-nature, consistently energetic with a positive attitude. Computer literate and have an intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel, 10 key by touch, data entry, QC skills, proof reading, proficient in organization, oral and written communication a must.

Ideal candidates must possess the ability to prioritize and complete diverse projects in a demanding, fast paced environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, office equipment, clearing paper jams, controls, lift 25 pounds, able to to reach and lift with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.

This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday, in office.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: [Required] High School Diploma or GED

Two [2] years experience working in Human Resources
