Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models in Revit and coordinating against other trades to eliminate clashes and produce drawings. The candidate will attend virtual meetings with clients, the design team, and other trades. Work as a team with fellow designers, project managers, estimators, and field electricians.  

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create 3D Models in Autodesk Revit
  2. Coordinate against other trades with Navisworks clash detection
  3. Resolve clashes and make uploads on time
  4. Attend virtual meetings (GoToMeeting) with clients, design teams, and other trades
  5. Walkthrough presentations in Navis Manager with project managers or field electricians
  6. Produce construction shop drawings
  7. Revise Revit shops per field as-builts to make a permanent record set for job closeouts if required.
  8. Scan field as-builts markups of shops already created to make a permanent record set for job closeouts
  9. Send final 2D/3D as-builts for approval from the client to the project manager exporting CAD files if required per specifications
  10. Help project managers scan large-format documents when needed
  11. Order plots of contract documents for project managers and field staff
  12. Keep block/family library up to date if a block is modified
  13. Keep JMEG Revit standards up to date in stored documents

Position Requirements

  • Revit / BIM experience 1-4 years (preferred)
  • Able to use Revit and Navisworks software
  • Meet project deadlines and schedule 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
