Position Overview
The Tennis Court Construction Laborer supports field crews in the construction, maintenance, and repair of courts and related athletic surfaces. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and contributing to the construction of high-quality sports facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Teamwork
- Ensure safety is prioritized in all aspects of work and follow all company safety policies
- Report to the Foreman and follow jobsite direction and daily plans
- Be punctual and prepared for daily work assignments
Field & Jobsite Support
- Perform labor on the jobsite as needed to support tennis court construction activities
- Assist with site preparation, materials handling, and cleanup
- Drive various sizes of company trucks to and from job sites as required
- Support crews with tools, equipment, and general jobsite organization
Work Environment
- Perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects, walking, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions
- Work schedules may include 40–60 hours per week, including weekends during peak construction season
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license required; Class A CDL is a plus
- Relatively clean motor vehicle record
- Applicants with drug or alcohol driving offenses in the last three years will not be considered
- Other violations evaluated per insurance standards
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
- Ability to work 40–60 hours per week, including weekends as required
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
