Position Details:

  • 2nd Shift (3:15pm-12:45 am)
  • Monday – Friday : 40+ hour week with overtime available on Saturday
  • $2.00/HR. SHIFT PREMIUM!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete in classroom training on components, operations, control functions, and safety.
  • Apply learned concepts on-the-job within safety, controls, machine operation, and quality
  • Produce quality parts and coordinate for transport
  • Work from blueprints to produce finished product
  • Assist with set up or in removing dies after production run is complete.
  • Perform inspection of parts for defects and complete quality check sheets for the specific part.
  • Load coil / material onto decoiler and or press utilizing overhead crane
  • Cross train on other equipment as directed to ensure production needs can be met.
  • Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed in the Department.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of a high school or equivalent.
  • Must be able to understand simple blueprints and/or specifications.
  • Must have mechanical aptitude and ability.
  • Some QC and inspection experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, and customer specifications.
