Position Summary
Entry level position that provides coordination support to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. This position is based in the corporate office with an eventual traveling or local jobsite assignment.
Responsibilities
Project Engineer – Job Office Responsibilities:
· Subcontractor Management (as it relates to submittal and material procurement)
· Submittal review and approvals
· RFI development
· Maintain Project Record Documents
· Process Pay applications
· Assist with Change Order pricing
· Support of safety plan
· Proficiency with computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, PMWeb (web-based project management software), BIM 360 Field, Primavera and Navisworks/Revit
Project Engineer – Field Responsibilities:
· Subcontractor Management (as if relates to installation)
· Submittal review skills
· RFI development
· Layout / surveying
· Daily reports
· Quality control
· Support of safety plan
· Proficiency with computer software – Carlson Survey Software, Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, PMWeb (web-based project management software), BIM 360 Field, Primavera and Navisworks/Revit
Education/Experience
Ideal candidates possess a background in construction. A Bachelors in Construction Management or related degree a plus.
