Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Keystone office (Metairie, Mandeville, or Baton Rouge)

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required

Essential Functions:

  • Programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
  • Development and design process to build effective, efficient, and safe control systems.
  • Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and processes.
  • Problem detection and solution implementation.
  • Prepare specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of working experience.
  • Rockwell Automation PLC & HMI experience.
  • Wonderware InTouch experience.
  • Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred:

  • B.S. in  Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • P.E. license.
  • Multiple PLC and HMI platforms experience.
  • DCS experience.
  • Employee supervision and direction.
  • Project Management skills.
