Adaptec Solutions is a full-service provider of automation and material handling solutions with lifecycle service capabilities for distribution/warehousing and manufacturing customers in the U.S.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the successful coordination of customer orders from order entry to fulfilment and invoicing.  Provides accurate, valid, and complete information by using the required systems and resources.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive purchase order (PO) from customer and then enter new purchase orders into the company ERP system.
  • Send POs to vendors/suppliers to order required items.
  • Upon receipt of shipment, verify that all invoices have been received and all costs match the original PO.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by communicating all order updates.
  • Accurate and timely invoicing of orders.
  • Maintain proper file structure and records per established company procedure.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Find opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.

 

SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS NEEDED TO PERFORM THE JOB:

  • Proficient working knowledge of CRM/ERP databases and software.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to build relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exemplify the highest level of professionalism in communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
