Job Responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial sites
- Perform installation of plumbing systems on new construction as well as remodels
- Inspect and troubleshoot any problems on previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
- Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
- Follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients
- Travel to project sites
- Other responsibilities as needed

- Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Iowa journeyman plumbers license
- Three or more years of trade experience as a journeyman plumber
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs
- Ability to read blueprints and lay out plumbing accordingly
- Ability to design/build plumbing systems per code
- Ability to drive company vehicles to various commercial and residential sites for work
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate equipment as needed
- Ability to lead/coach/train employees and run an efficient job site
- Excellent Communication Skills
