Total Compensation:  $22.00 to $28.00 per hour

Position Summary:

Specialize in installing, adjusting, and repairing all things related to home appliances. Offering a wide range of services from refrigerator problems to dryer issues and help their customers as needed. Examining customers’ appliances and identifying the cause of appliance problem. Working safely is our company’s number one business objective. It is the responsibility of each employee to comply with all safety and health requirements whether established by the company or by federal, state, or local law.

Essential Skills:

  • Install, service, and repair various household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot problems.
  • Provide repair options, estimates and timeframes to customers, considering any product warranties.
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance. 
  • Record all the work that was done on the work site in order to bill the customer correctly.
  • Observe appliances after a job is complete to ensure it performs its desired function.
  • Maintain inventory of all the company’s tools and spare parts and restocking when needed.
  • Continually looks for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively.
  • Continually strives to improve personal performance by taking an active role in seeking training or other opportunities for growth and development.
  • This is a “safety sensitive” position. You are not to divulge any confidential personnel and/or corporate policy. As well as not engage in gossip or other unprofessional conduct.
  • Ensures complete protection of customer’s property during installation of products.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Completes work orders, task lists and documents to verify work performed.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Regular Attendance is an essential function of this job.

 Qualifications/Experience:

  • Training from a trade or vocational school or certification in home appliance maintenance.
  • Offer emergency services when necessary and occasionally be on call during evenings to assist customers who are experience drastic problems.
  • Ability to push, pull and lift heavy pieces of equipment.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • This individual must possess the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization; as well as, external vendors, business contacts, existing customers, and potential customers.
  • Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    • Competitive pay.
    • Here at ASC, each pay period for payroll is the duration of 1 week.  It begins on Wednesday and goes through the following Tuesday.  All hourly positions here at ASC will be eligible for overtime, which includes any hours worked over 40 hours within the same weekly pay period.    Overtime also includes any time worked during a holiday or weekends (beginning at 12:00 AM Saturday), regardless of the number of hours worked during a weekly pay period.
    • ASC pays a flat $500.00 toward the employee’s Health Insurance.
    • ASC pays a flat $30.00 toward the employee’s Dental Insurance.
