Sales Representative / Operational Foreman

We are searching for a talented, self-driven Sales Representative / Operational Foreman to add to our growing team. This position requires working with corporate, residential, and commercial projects. Applicants will need to maintain organization in both office settings and field project needs. Time management is critical to promptly set sales appointments and turf installs. The sales representative / operational foreman will require working closely with customers as well as the install technician team, and will need to have the ability to troubleshoot, gauge, and organize needs according to project. To be successful in this position, delegating tasks to the install technicians on site is critical to ensure that deadlines are met and safety standards are adhered to.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Appear professional and branded with SYNLawn attire with every customer encounter.
  • Professionally interact, communicate, and answer any questions that the customer may have about their new investment.
  • Professionally interact, communicate, and answer any questions your installation team may have regarding specialized installs.
  • Follow up promptly with incoming leads.
  • Efficiently and effectively navigate bid software and other lead generating programs to build potentially new sales contacts.
  • Efficiently and effectively use in house computer systems to maintain scheduling, orders, and invoicing.
  • Maintain relationships with customers both commercial and residential (before, during, and after).
  • Visualize, organize, and execute installs efficiently.
  • Provide strong professional leadership while working parallel with installation team.
  • Transport and navigate to and from customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot and provide repair for existing equipment prior to on site installs.
  • Ability to learn, organize, and provide install suggestion and direction for various turf systems.
  • Clean up site after completion of install.
  • Educate customers (commercial and residential) on the purchase and install process, and explain the proper care, maintenance, and warranty of purchase.
  • Follow up all meetings and project completions with a thank you card.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude at all times with both customers and installation team.

Paid Training Provided

Sales Representative / Operational Foreman will be provided 2-4 days of in person training. This will consist of meeting with residential and commercial customers, as well as setting up a lunch and learn meeting with an architect firm. A SYNLawn certified installer will be present on the first two installs to help teach, train, and troubleshoot install questions accordingly. This training may coincide with the above 2-4 day in person training.

SYNLawn virtual training videos are available, as well as the ability to plan troubleshooting training and ZOOM calls with a SYNLawn Certified Installer / Sales Representative. Weekly meetings / touchpoints will be held to guide, plan, and debrief upcoming sales and projects.
