The Fire Extinguisher Inspector effectively inspects fire extinguishers for customers, responding to work orders quickly and efficiently.  They provide excellent customer service, possessing solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs fire extinguisher inspections at customer properties solo and while assisting the Lead/Senior Fire Extinguisher Technician
  • Returns serviced fire extinguishers to customer properties
  • Performs small fire extinguisher installation jobs
  • Performs tasks as assigned by Lead/Senior Fire Extinguisher Technician

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good communication, organizational, reading and time management skills


  • Valid State Driver's License

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand for up to 7 hours
  • Ability to sit for up to 1 hour
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Shop Environment that may include dust, exposure to outside elements during all seasons
