Rich Fire Protection, a subsidiary of Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Company, has been a leader in the fire protection industry for more than 30 years.  The reputation of our firm is well regarded and recognized throughout the construction industry.  Located in Pleasantville, NJ and servicing clients throughout the immediate tri-state area, we are passionate about our work and commitment to excellence.  We are experienced in all areas of the fire protection field including 3D design, fabrication, installation of fire sprinkler systems, maintenance and repair and project management.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Fire Extinguisher Inspector to our team in Pleasantville NJ.  

The Fire Extinguisher Inspector effectively inspects fire extinguishers for customers, responding to work orders quickly and efficiently.  They provide excellent customer service, possessing solid communication and interpersonal skills.

As an Inspector, you will:

  • Perform fire extinguisher inspections at customer properties solo and while assisting the Lead/Senior Fire Extinguisher Technician
  • Return serviced fire extinguishers to customer
  • Perform small fire extinguisher installation jobs
  • Perform tasks as assigned by Lead/Senior Fire Extinguisher Technician

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good communication, organizational, reading and time management skills

Licenses:

  • Valid State Driver's License

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand for up to 7 hours
  • Ability to sit for up to 1 hour
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Shop Environment that may include dust, exposure to outside elements during all seasons
