FIRE EXTINGUISHER SHOP TECHNICIAN

The Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician effectively maintains fire extinguishers while providing a safe and clean working environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recharges, tests, repairs, and performs maintenances on fire extinguishers
  • Inspects fire extinguishers on site for walk in customers
  • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the fire extinguisher shop
  • Maintains supplies needed to perform the testing and repairs of fire extinguisher

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good communication, organizational, reading and time management skills

Licenses:

  • Valid State Driver's License

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand for up to 7 hours
  • Ability to sit for up to 1 hour
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Shop Environment that may include dust, exposure to outside elements during all seasons
