Install and Maintain Equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures

Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the company

Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction projects

Assist in maintaining and servicing all material handling equipment at the facilities, as needed

Safely and efficiently operate rental equipment including small cranes, all terrain forklifts, and other motorized equipment

Correctly operate welders, plasma cutters, oxy/acetylene torches, and hand/power tools

Read and understand blueprints for fabrication and installation of equipment

Communicate with and work alongside private contractors when needed

Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal work load.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

Must be able to work independently with little supervision and follow written or verbal instruction

Must be flexible to work at remote locations for extended periods of time

Ability to work various hours during the week, weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed

Must possess a valid driver’s license and DOT health card

Occasionally push, pull, and/or lift heavy objects

Frequently bend at the waist and/or knees

Occasionally climb ladders and/or stairs

Ability to actively work in all weather conditions – extreme heat and cold

Effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers

Proficient in basic computer and math skills

Accurately read and understand signs, labels, warnings, directions, and operator manuals

Accurately and legibly record required information
