We are currently seeking a IT Vendor Management Specialist. This role will work with IT contract owners to implement and mature a vendor compliance process.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the progress of each vendor engagement, whereby ensuring that the business units are following the correct procedures, providing advice and guidance as required.
- Maintaining a contracts database with expiry dates and key terms, providing timely notification of expiring contracts to the business owners and/or procurement.
- Create and maintain electronic records of executed vendor contract documents.
- Produce ad hoc reports to leadership on progress of vendors going through the process.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, relationship management and influencing skills.
- Ensure vendors comply with contractual terms and conditions. Report out as necessary for non-compliance.
- Drive maturity by regularly evaluating the process and suggesting/delivering enhancements.
- Using the approvals matrix to seek the appropriate level of leadership approval.
- Validate the process completeness prior to signature being confirmed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years’ experience in procurement
- Experience with vendor management processes specific to vendor management program implementations
- Ability to identify obstacles and work in conjunction with others to identify options/solutions
- Ability to constructively work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employees
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adjust priorities as necessary
