We are currently seeking a IT Vendor Management Consultant.  This role will lead procurement and vendor management practices for IT.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the IT vendor procurement and management processes to ensure stakeholders follow the correct procedures, providing advice and guidance as required.
  • Responsible for researching industry development and vendor pools to drive productive negotiations.
  • Negotiate product pricing and contract terms with vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Department for large initiatives to support corporate goals.
  • Act as the intermediary between vendors and stakeholders.
  • Produce vendor performance reporting to drive partner accountability to contract SLAs.
  • Manage the contract process for IT, in partnership with the business and legal.
  • Establish and maintain vendor performance standards and reporting.
  • Create and maintain electronic records of executed vendor contract documents.
  • Maintaining a contracts database with expiry dates and key terms, providing timely notification of expiring contracts to the business owners and/or procurement.
  • Manage the IT invoice portal in ServiceNow.
  • Drive maturity by regularly evaluating the process and suggesting/delivering enhancements.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement
  • Experience with implementing vendor management programs
  • Ability to identify obstacles and work with others to identify options/solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employees
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Power BI and ServiceNow experience desired
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adjust priorities as necessary
