We are currently seeking a Cash Application Specialist for our Business Unit Support Services department. 

Responsibilities:  

The Cash Application Specialist reports to the Order to Cash Manager and is responsible for daily cash application for multiple companies, identifying and communicating issues with these companies, and continuing to provide input for best practices for this centralized service.  The Cash Application Specialist is also a member of a centralized shared services accounting team providing support to selected APi Group companies.  

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Previous experience in cash application on Microsoft AX
  • Willingness to be trained in best practices and follow defined process
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus 
  • Willingness to adapt to technology to streamline work and find efficiencies
  • Detail oriented and organized in work 
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines 
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results 
  • Proactive and independent
  • Willingness to suggest new processes to be more effective and provide the best service possible
  • Flexible and enthusiastic
  • Place a high value on honesty and integrity in one’s work
