Efficiently coordinating duties with fellow workers 

Day to day preventative maintenance and repair of all types of heavy equipment to include Fleet vehicles

On-site repairs and maintenance at construction job site locations

Must have good problem solving skills and positive attitude. Must be motivated, self-starter, and punctual. 

Lift objects of various shapes up to 75lbs.

Perform other duties as assigned

Must be able to work overtime when needed.

Prompt daily attendance at assigned schedule.

Assists other mechanics with the more difficult assignments.



Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good understanding of using all repair tools and equipment

Knowledge of safety issues in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies used in repair of motorized vehicles and equipment.

Skill in the use of a variety of hand tools.

Ability to communicate with other mechanics about repair work needed

Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and engines.

Must be able to follow all safety requirements




Class A CDL with Medical Card Required or able to Obtain 

Ability to operate Equipment for repair purposes

Strong people skills. Able to communicate effectively 

Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the construction industry

Must be able to follow all safety requirements

High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification

Work experience of 2 – 3 years as a fleet or a fleet mechanic

Construction and mining equipment maintenance a plus


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Hiring will be contingent on passing a drug screen and a Motor Vehicle Report Record Check
