Fleet / Purchasing Administrator Seeking an energetic highly motivated individual to coordinate the organization of fleet vehicles and small purchases for 9 locations.

Duties to include:

  • Determine annual new vehicle needs across all departments. Purchase these through multi-source avenues. New and used options.
    1. Negotiate pricing and delivery options.
  • Monitor large delivery vehicles and recommend schedule for replacement and capital expense schedule.
    1. Negotiate pricing and delivery options.
  • Input new vehicles for the company into the fleet database.
  • Manage the DMV process for title, tags, and taxes, fuel stickers.
  • Manage the current 519 company vehicles:
    1. Coordinate vehicle accident repairs for all departments.
    2. Manage vehicle repairs and issue purchase orders for all repairs outside of ITE.
    3. Evaluate and manage the disposition of the vehicles to remove from the fleet due to age, mileage, or repair costs.
    4. Negotiate company tire agreements and purchase tires as needed.
    5. Manage the vehicle driver service notifications: tires rotation, tire tread depth, oil change, state inspection, and issue purchase orders for the services needed, then log each to the fleet database.
    6. Provide data analysis and reports as needed for management.
    7. Work with IT to develop the above reports and improve the Vehicle module in SAIL.
  • Vehicle accident incident management.

Purchasing:

  • Create and manage annual purchase orders for all offices to include:
    1. Office Supplies
    2. Cylinder Rental: Oxygen, Nitrogen, Acetylene
    3. UPS Freight Charges
    4. Disposal Services
  • Assist in Employee tool purchases for:
    1. Small Tools
    2. Boots

Qualifications:

· Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work

· Strong aptitude to work within deadlines

· Ability to communicate ideas of process improvement/forward thinking

· Integrity, honesty, and responsibility with a desire to contribute to the team’s success

· Proficient in Microsoft Products, including Excel and Word

· Highly organized in both time and resources

· Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices

· Ability to work within a team or independently as needed

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, with speed and accuracy

· Must be able to pass a background / drug screen
