Duties
Provide maintenance support for Middleware supported servers and applications.
The candidate will have a thorough understanding of administering web tier technologies deployed on Unix and Windows systems with a focus on configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning at the server software and operating system level.
Education
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 10 years proven performance in IT assignment or a Bachelor's degree in nonrelated field with 15 years proven performance in IT assignment.
Experience/Skills
Demonstrated experience supporting infrastructure components (e.g. Apache HTTP, IIS webservers, Tomcat application servers, WebLogic servers, access management systems, etc.) ensuring uptime and performance of high-availability resources.
Demonstrated experience with the Linux platform and with configuring and administering Apache web server and Tomcat.
Demonstrated experience in Scripting Language (Unix, Batch, PowerShell).
Demonstrated experience performing End-to-end monitoring of the systems for both performance and availability.
Demonstrated experience with applying Apache and Tomcat updates.
Demonstrated Linux and Windows Server skills set with demonstrated knowledge of the operating system commands.
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a “L” security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Hours
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. SRNS Management will determine best schedule depending on work needs. Each workday has an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.
