Position Summary

The System Administrator position provides advanced technical expertise in the deployment and upkeep of CDI workstations, iPhones/iPads, networking gear and software solutions.  The position will also support CDI’s satellite offices as well as remote job sites across the country.  This position is based in Little Rock, AR and has the opportunity for some travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and sustained usability of computers, their associated peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines
  • Quickly troubleshoot problems to isolate cause and determine resolution
  • Monitor and maintain systems for necessary endpoint compliance
  • Coordinate implementation of software and hardware changes
  • Work with 3rd party vendors for installation/support of software applications and hardware solutions
  • Test OS updates and application upgrades prior to deployment in Production Environment
  • Keep inventory records current
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience installing and supporting hardware, operating systems, applications and peripherals
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with Windows 10 and Apple iOS
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to maintain poise and efficiency during hectic situations
  • Ability to plan and manage changes in a production environment while minimizing user impact
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience with Meraki gear
  • Experience supporting Apple mobile devices
