**PERMANENT LOCAL** Mechanical Insulation Foreman
Job Title: Insulation Foreman
Department: Omaha, Nebraska
Reports to: Insulation Superintendent & Project Manager
Management Role: Manager
Salary Range: $ 29 /hour to $ 33 /hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- **THIS POSTING IS FOR A PERMANENT LOCAL POSITION IN OMAHA NEBRASKA - MAXIMUM TRAVEL IS UP TO 4 HRS FROM THE METRO AREA**
- Directly supervises and coordinates mechanical & plumbing insulation and construction workers.
- Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material - Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Scheduling Work and Activities - Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
- Must maintain good customer relations while on and off the jobs.
- Estimating the Quantifiable Products, Events, or Information - Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Coaching and Developing Others - Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
- Responsible for the overall safety of his crews and others performing work in the adjacent areas.
- Must have the knowledge to follow a plan, specifications and drawings for commercial jobs.

- Mechanical / Plumbing Pipe & HVAC Duct Insulation experience is required
- Commercial construction industry experience is required
- Fabrication experience is a plus
- Mechanically inclined
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record; in accordance to Company Policy
- Willing to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
Formal Education and Experience Required:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Lifting Requirements:
Up to 50 pounds.

Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions:
While performing the responsibilities of this job, the work environment is primarily construction-site based and may involve traveling between various geographic locations or projects. Employee will be required to wear personal protective clothing including but not limited to ear protection, eye protection, hard hat, gloves, and reflective gear. The employee will frequently be on active construction sites involving heavy machinery, cranes, and other vehicles.
Work will involve occasional to frequent exposure to high places, confined spaces, noise, and weather elements.
