Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Pipeline Project Engineer to join our Houston Office Team.

Essential Functions:
- Seeking an individual to be utilized in a blended role supporting technical and project managerial project needs with concentration in pipelines and storage facilities.
- Function as part of Keystone's Houston Office Multi-Discipline Project Team to ensure effective and successful execution of pipeline projects across a diverse Oil & Gas Client base supporting natural gas and liquids, pump stations, compressor stations, metering skids, pigging facilities, and product storage.
- Performs pipeline engineering tasks, including, but not limited to, basic pipeline engineering calculations involving sizing, hydraulics, pressure drops, wall thickness, etc.
- Provide direction and oversight to design/drafting staff to develop design deliverables of high quality to issue for construction.
- Reviews vendor provided data, documentation, and drawings
- Evaluates, selects, and applies appropriate standards, engineering methods, procedures, materials, and installation details.
- Ensures that pipeline design meets industry best practices, pertinent codes and standards, governing regulations, and client requirements.
- Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines on design deliverables
- Prepares and/or assists with conceptual studies, designs, budgetary estimates, and constructability reviews
- Participate in Proposal Development to include confirmation of scope, staffing requirements, extended labor & expense cost estimates, and schedule milestones.
- Reviews and checks the work of other project team members
- Works effectively within established budgets and deadlines
- Identifies various issues within projects, leads the development of solutions, and ensures solutions are implemented
- Conducts/participates in regular team meetings and ensure effective project communications occur and action items followed up on
- Work with Mapping Team to produce alignment drawings and provide coordination with regulatory agencies, ROW, environmental, and archeological personnel that are part of project execution.
- Follow Keystone project management procedures and ensure project record keeping is maintained in appropriate directories and work folders.
- Ensure timely review of invoice drafts and billing as per authorizations, including change orders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSME Preferred) from ABET
- 10+ years of relevant experience in pipeline projects
- Experience and knowledge of Pipeline industry regulatory codes and standards such as : ASME, API, AWWA, ASTM, and MSS specifications.
- Specific knowledge of ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, and CFR.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
