Our North Andover, MA office is currently looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator who is excited to be on the front lines of solar’s rapid growth. This role will require time in our North Andover, MA location and will require travel throughout our territory as as needed for events with a focus on Massachusetts. 

Salary starting at $40,000.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Community Engagement Coordinator works under direction of the Community Engagement & Partnership Director and has a wide range of responsibilities for advancing ReVision Energy’s growth and conducting partnership building and community-focused engagement with co-owners, partner businesses and organizations, current commercial and residential clients and prospective clients, media, and public.  

Job Description 

The Community Engagement & Partnership Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to build awareness through partnerships that reflect ReVision Energy’s mission, vision, and values through execution of the companywide Community Engagement & Partnership Strategy. By representing ReVision Energy at events, partnership initiatives, and the like, this position will ultimately increase awareness and sales throughout ReVision Energy’s regions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist in executing ReVision Energy’s Community Engagement & Partnership Strategy, in collaboration with the Community Engagement & Partnership Team.  
  • Maintaining a calendar of partnership and Engagement activities, including community events, presentations, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Community Engagement Manager to cultivate relationships and meaningful engagement with community organizations and partners.  
  • Support individualized marketing plans for Commercial & Institutional clients including organization of celebratory events, project manage requests for creative services (signs, banners, drone photography), and other actions to empower commercial solar champions.  
  • Coordinate needs for partnership and event participation (payment, staffing, logistics, materials, etc.).
  • Staff events throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine as needed including assisting the Climate Educator with presentation and lessons at schools.  
  • Supply Digital Team with content (photography, short videos, quotes, details) from community engagement and partnership events.
  • Oversee inventory of all outreach materials across all branches, monitor supplies (re-ordering and repairing as needed), and organization of those items (quality assurance).
  • Track community engagement metrics (i.e. event attendance, volume of collateral distributed, number of quality conversations had) for internal/external reporting purposes.
  • Assist in JEDI initiatives as requested (i.e. Vote for Justice Campaign)
  • Provide support for the Solar Champion Plan as requested.  
  • Provide support for public and media relations at ReVision Energy including writing press releases, updating media lists, and recording press mentions.  
  • Provide support for Commercial and Residential Sales Teams as necessary.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree suggested and 2+ years of experience in Engagement or other areas directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Commensurate experience will be considering in lieu of a degree.  
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong professional relationships over the phone and in person. 
  • Willingness and ability (i.e. no claustrophobia) to wear a large costume at events. 
  • Demonstrated fluency in using standard office software packages (MS Office: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills. 
  • Able to follow through on assignments and projects within required budgets and deadlines. 
  • Excellent time and stress management skills. 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Position must be based in Massachusetts with hybrid work option available. (A combination of work from home and in office at our North Andover branch.) 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.  
  • Full background check required. 
  • Willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine monthly if necessary.  
  • Willingness to work some nights and weekends. 
  • Willingness to learn about the solar industry.  
  • An interest in photography is desired.  
  • An interest in renewable energy and a passion for saving the world.
