Sioux Falls Food Co-op is a consumer-owned cooperative business that is managed by the people who shop with us. We pride ourselves on being the best place in Sioux Falls to find local produce and products. We are currently looking for a great leader to join us as a Front End Manager.

The Front End Manager will provide excellent customer service, assist with customer special orders, stock and display grocery product, maintain department cleanliness, and accurately accept payment for products using POS system. This position is also responsible for creating the schedule for the Front End staff as well as counting the safe and making change orders.

As a Front End Manager, the face of the business, a typical day might include the following:

• Create schedule for Front End.
• Count the safe and make change orders.
• Assist with hiring, training, and supervising of Front-End staff.
• Cashier, bag products for member-owners/customers
• Stock, rotate, merchandise, and face product according to department procedure.
• Train other staff as needed.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
• Accurately accept payment for products using POS system
• Maintain department cleanliness
• Providing prompt, friendly service to all customers
